Gazprom Neft and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Sign Social and Economic Agreements for 2010

These agreements are intended to promote the social development in the district’s municipalities and bolster the long-term stable cooperation and business relations between Gazprom Neft and the YaNAO authorities.

The agreements outline in detail the purpose of expenditures, as well as the amounts and time when funds will be allocated to the municipal budgets. In terms of one of the projects for 2010, Gazprom Neft and Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz will be funding the construction of a sports and recreation facility in Noyabrsk.
Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz also committed to fund construction of housing in the villages of Nadymsky District. A multipurpose sports hall will be built in Muravlenko. In Purovsky District, the Company will fund the needs of small indigenous communities of Yety-Yalya, Pyako-Purovskoy, Sugmutsko-Pyakutinsky and Ichya. Besides, a house for the representatives of small indigenous northern peoples will be built in Khanymey village, and the town of Tarko-Sale will get a youth club. The company will also fund construction of sports and recreation facility in Purpe village.
The 2010 agreements with local municipalities have been signed within the framework of the General Cooperation Agreement 2009-2011 between Gazprom Neft and the YaNAO Administration.
