WANO’s peer review finished at Volgodonsk-2
Апреля 10, 2010A pre-startup peer review finished at the second reactor of Volgodonsk (Rostov) nuclear power plant. The peer review was started on March 15 by experts of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO). The plant informed that experts from Armenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, India, Iran, Russia, Ukraine and USA had been checking compliance of Volgodonsk-2 with reliability and safety requirements for two weeks. According to team leader Jaroslav Vokurek, the experts highly appraised the reactor technical conditions.
