New wells drilled at “Oil Rocks”

SOCAR Complex Drilling Works Trust has launched drilling of 2 new wells at “Oil Rocks” field. “Bayil Limany” Sea Exploration Drilling Office has drilled the well No 2271 to the depth of 2560 meters from the platform No 1887 to Girmaki Suite.

The daily production of the well will total 30 tons of oil. Besides, “Oil Rocks” Sea Drilling Office has started drilling of the well No 2426 from the platform No 2415. The project depth of the well drilled to X Horizon makes 1980 meters. According to geologists, after the well is put into operation, the daily production will amount to 12 tons of oil. Both of the wells will be put into operation by “Oil Rocks” Oil and Gas Extraction Office.
