Representatives of “Firm ORGRES” members of Expert council for power industry under FAS

Apart from their activities in the council, representatives of “Firm ORGRES” acted as experts in legal proceedings in respect of OAO “TGK-11” commenced in connection with violation of Competition Act.
Director of “Firm ORGRES” Rustem Askhatov provided the following comment about the participation of branch of “Engineering Center UES” in the work of FAS: “Firm ORGRES” has over a 75-year long experience of operation in power industry. We have been working in power engineering for quite a long time and are sure that its efficient development is impossible without observance by all the players of the legal rules and requirements, including the antimonopoly law”.
Expert councils under the RF FAS work with all the key markets. Power industry council was founded as a permanent counseling and deliberative assembly. Among the prime tasks of the council there is development of recommendations for improvement of governmental control and supervision of abidance by the antimonopoly law in electric power markets; preparation of proposals for development of competition in power engineering industry; project appraisal, review of legislative and other regulatory legal acts in the sphere of power engineering and other issues.
The expert council is formed from FAS staff, representatives of federal executive bodies, representatives of power engineering infrastructure entities, participants of wholesale and retail market of electric power and the related markets, upon presentation by Federal Antimonopoly Service, scientific and other organizations and independent experts.
