Cooperation Agreement 2010 was signed between Gazprom Neft and the Administration of the Omsk Region

The document was signed by Gazprom Neft Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Dyukov and the Governor of the Omsk Region Leonid Polezhaev.

The new agreement constitutes a part of the General Cooperation Agreement between Gazprom Neft and the Government of the Omsk Region signed in August 2009.
Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprom Neft Alexander Dyukov stated:
“The Omsk Region represents one of the key regions of Gazprom Neft’s growing presence. Located in Omsk, the Omsk Refinery plays the lead in terms of production volume and processing depth throughout the country, while Gazprom Neft’s distributor Gazpromneft-Omsk controls a large retail chain. Besides, the Company produces oil in the Tara district.
Gazprom Neft and the Administration of the Omsk Region are involved into long-lasting partnership. The Company regards this cooperation as strategic, and its management places a high value on the support provided by the regional administration in terms of implementation of the most significant projected initiated by the Company”.
In terms of refining throughput, the Omsk Refinery ranks second in Russia, and its total annual refining capacity makes 19.5 mln. tons. In 2009, the refinery processed 18.43 mln. tons of crude hydrocarbons, while the processing depth achieved 86.66 per cent.
A phased construction of new facilities and modernization of those existing allowed Omsk Refinery establish one of the most up-to-date sets of present-day processing operational procedures. JSC Gazpromneft-ONPZ heads the list of the Russian refineries in terms of motor oil production. In 2009, manufacture of commercial gasoline hit 5.2 mln. tons (including 3.6 mln. tons of motor gasoline), and the share of high-octane gasoline made 82.43 per cent. Super Euro-98 and Premium Euro-95 gasolines manufactured since April 2008 are estimated at 10.99 per cent of total motor gasoline production.
Currently, the Omsk Refinery is implementing a middle-term investment program approved by Gazprom Neft. The program involves a number of big budget projects including a completed in 2009 upgrade of gasoline rerun distillation block in VDU-10 unit, construction of a light naphta izomerisation unit, construction of a new hydrotreatment unit with capacity of 3 mln. tons per year that consists of a catalytically cracked gasoline hydrotreater and a diesel fuel hydrotreater.
