The full reconstruction of grids is made in village of Kortkeros of Republic of Komi

The total length of the reconstructed line amounted to 18 km.
The works were made with the usage of the self-supporting insulated conductor. In the opinion of chief of Kortkerossky distribution zone Alexander Izyurov, the usage of modern technologies will make it possible to increase not only power supply quality of consumers but safety.
“We changed the wire by insulated one of both main lines and inputs in dwelling houses –  we have increased by this lines safety in cases of broken wires and downfall of trees. Having increased the section of wires by several times we have achieved a high quality of power transmitted”, - noticed chief of the distribution zone.
In the reconstruction course of grids the reserve of power supply of the village’s centre was established. For these purposes 10 kv line is constructed additionally from 110/10 kv substation “Kortkeros”. 388 of remote-mount groups of electric power accounting with the circuit breaker assembly against short-circuit are installed at dwelling houses and lead-in poles.
The expenses for the fulfillment of the lines reconstruction amounted to over RUR 24 million.
The last time the reconstruction of grids in Kortkeros was made in 2007. In those times 10 km of power transmission lines were changed with the usage of the insulated wire.
