"Turboatom" was visited by Ambassador of India in Ukraine

During the meeting parties discussed questions of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of power manufacturing engineering. The talk turned to turbines deliveries for nuclear, thermal and hydropower of India. “Turboatom” has prepared technical-commercial proposal for participation in tenders on equipment delivery to HPP Phata Bhung, Pare, Vyasny and others and also NPP Kakrapar and TPP Badnarpur.
Mr Saha high appreciated the work of the enterprise. “Turboatom” is the unique plant with great potential, it is heritage of all industry not only Kharkov region but all Ukraine.”
Ambassador expressed insurance that cooperation “Turboatom” and Indian power companies will develop and increase in what follows.
OJSC “Turboatom” from its side expressed readiness to implement delivery of necessary equipment to India.
Cooperation OJSC “Turboatom” with India in the field of hydro power began in 60th. For this period for HPP Balimela the enterprise manufactured and dispatched 6 spherical and 8 butterfly valves, for HPP Louer Sileru – 1 butterfly and 3 spherical valves, for HPP Loktak – spherical valve. At HPP Linganamakki were established 2 rotary-blade hydro turbines with capacity 28, 5 MW. In 2001 at HPP Theri the plant dispatched 4 radial-axial hydro turbines with unit capacity 255 MW, 4 spherical and 4 butterfly valves.
In 2007-2009 for HPP Koteshvar were manufactured and dispatched 4 runners with capacity 102 MW.
In 2007 finished deliveries of the 4th steam turbines with unit capacity 240 MW for NPP Kaiga 3, 4, RADJASTAN 5, 6. Today three power units from the fourth were put into industry operation.
