President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution on construction of the East-West gas pipeline

With the view of implementing the 2011-2030 National Social and Economic Development Programme of Turkmenistan and the Programme for the development of oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period to 2030 as well as increasing natural gas exports, the President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the Turkmengaz State Concern and the Turkmennebitgazgurlysyk State Concern at the expense of the Turkmengaz State Concern to design and construct the East-West gas pipeline and ground-based auxiliary infrastructure with the capacity of 30 billion cubic metres per year on the section from the Satlyk gas-compressor station of the Dovletabad-Deryalyk gas pipeline to the Belek-1 gas-compressor station based on actual costs in accordance with the procedure for calculating the cost of construction and repair work approved by the Resolution 10217 of the President of Turkmenistan of January 30, 2009.
