TNK-BP Will Invest Over 28 mln Roubles to Renovate Rtischevskaya Oil Depot in Saratov Region

The Rtischevskaya oil depot was commissioned in 1931 and remains one of TNK-BP’s key sales terminals in the north-western part of the Saratov Region. In 2009 the company sold 19.1 tonnes of oil products through the oil depot.

OJSC Saratovnefteprodukt (a TNK-BP subsidiary) plans to funnel more than 28 mln roubles in 2010 to run projects to renovate the Rtischevskaya oil depot. A number of investment projects are in the pipeline waiting to be put in place by the end of the year to improve industrial and environmental safety. One of these projects involves the construction of purification facilities at the depot.
