"Turboatom" will take part in tender on building HPP in Vietnam

During the visit in Chenoa was the meeting with management Vietnam National Corporation of coal – mineral industry "Vinacomin".
Parties discussed questions of cooperation in the sphere of power system. Particularly speech was about participation OJSC "Turboatom" in building HPP Dong Nai – 5, where is planned to install two Francis turbines of "Francis" type with unit capacity 75 MW and diameter of runner with diameter 4, 35 m. "Vincomin" is the customer of this project. Today has been already designed technical evaluation of building HPP and is prepared tender documentation. For participation in tender, this will be in three months, "Turboatom" from its side will prepare conformed technical – commercial offer.
Representatives of Ukrainian companies also visited firm "Marine", which can be potential supplier of auxiliary plant equipment. Involving in work of this enterprise explained that by Vietnam law the part of equipment (till 30%) should manufacture local producers.
By Victor Efimenko words, the supplier is satisfied with equipment of Kharkov producer "Quality of our turbines confirmed with its many years commissioning. On May HPP Thak Mo, on which are installed hydro sets of OJSC "Turboatom" is 15 years old. On the plant is noticed excellent work of equipment", he said.
In 1965 for Vietnam HPP Thak Ba "Turboatom" manufactured and dispatched three turn – blade hydri turbines of nominal capacity 37 MW. Today this equipment is updated with increasing capacity of each set till 41 MW.
In 1995 for HPP Thak Mo the plant dispatched two hydro turbines with unit capacity 77, 5 MW.
