"Turboatom" and "ELSIB" OJSC concluded transaction about intentions

OJSC "Turboatom" were visited representatives of Russian company SPA "ELSIB". Having got acquainted with work of basic workshops and SPD of "Turboatom", with particularities and technology of steam turbine, hydro turbine and mechanical assembly manufacture in the enterprise, guests rated highly productive potential and technical level of the plant.

During the visit parties hold negotiations and concluded transaction about intentions of cooperation in the sphere of power engineering. The main direction of work will be common delivery of equipment for building in Kazakhstan the third power unit Ekibastuzskaya TPP-2 with capacity 560 MW. According to agreements OJSC "Turboatom" will implement turbine delivery and SPA "ELSIB" will manufacture and dispatch turbo generator. For participation in tender, pointed on September of current year, enterprises will prepare conformed technical-commercial offer. Also it was discussed common participation in building and updating thermal and hydro power of Russia.
The next meeting is planned to hold in July in Novosibirsk, where parties will conclude Memorandum about understanding.
In conclusion Russian colleagues thanked for warm visit and expressed hope in further fruitful cooperation.
SPA "ELSIB" OJSC will implement design and production of turbo generators, hydro generators, and high volt asynchronous electromotor, other big electrical machines. Its production the enterprise dispatched to the objects of energetic, oil-gas, coal, chemical and other branches of industry as in Russia so abroad.
