SOCAR’s budget payment for May 2010

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan paid AZN 87 million 932 thousand to the State Budget for May of the current year that is AZN 1 million 744 thousand (102%) more against payments for the same period of 2009.

For January-May 2010, SOCAR transferred AZN 425 million 282 thousand to the State Budget that was AZN 116 million 311 thousand or 137,6% more against payments for the same period of 2009. Besides, the Company’s payment to the State Social Protection Fund made AZN 10 million 182 thousand in May 2010 that is AZN 1 million 149 thousand (112,7%) more compared to the same period of 2009. In general, the January-May payments to State Social Protection Fund totaled AZN 49 million 623 thousand that is AZN 7 million 584 thousand (118%) more against the payments for the same term in 2009.
