"Turboatom" made technical inspection of third HPP of Morocco

With aim of warning of safe work of hydro power plants the representatives of the plant checked hydro sets on necessity of construction complete overhaul or possible updating with increasing its capacity and efficiency. During the work was checked the condition of main turbine nodes and hydro valves, including runners, scrolls, draft tubes, wicket gates, servomotors, bearings, automatic system and system of regulation and also control cabinets and valves compaction.
In general condition of equipment admitted as satisfied one, still, to designer and technical services mind, complete overhaul of hydro turbines is need and delivery of spare parts to it at HPP Al-Vahda. Also to Moroccan part will be offered conducting reconstruction at HPP Mulley Yusef and HPP Mansur Eddachby, where turbines have been worked more than 35 years. During inspection Moroccan colleagues pointed high quality and safety of Kharkov turbines.
In nearest time OJSC “Turboatom” will submit account of not-yet-user with corresponded recommendations.
At HPP Mansur Eddachby since 1971 have been installed two turbines with unit capacity 5300 kW and two valves with diameter 2 m. Since 1973 at HPP Mulley Yusef have been installed two turbines with unit capacity 12, 5 kW and two valves with diameter 2 m. For HPP Al-Vachda in 1995 the plant supplied three butterfly valves with diameter 5 m.
