"Turboatom" has finished delivery of equipment for Egorlikskaya HPP-2

OJSC "Turboatom" has finished delivery of equipment for new building plant Egorlikskaya HPP-2 (s. Levoegorlikskaya in Stavropol Territory, Russia), entering into cascade Kubanskih HPP on the river Egorlyk. The plant dispatched to the customer the runner, shaft and packing rings of the fourth turbine.

Today at HPP accompanied by specialists of OJSC "Turboatom" runs the erection of all fourth sets. It has been already installed metallic scroll case with stators and inset parts and other power equipments. On site of Egorlikskaya HPP-2 is continued broadening and concreting of discharge channel, columns of turbine half annex are erected.
The customer of building project is OJSC "RusHydro". The contract with OJSC “Turboatom” was signed in July 2008. By contract’s conditions for Egorlikskaya HPP-2 the enterprise will deliver four Francis turbines with nominal capacity 3 MW with diameter of runner 1, 9 m. Besides to the range of obligations of “Turboatom” are included supervise erection and starting up and adjustment works technical manual. The total capacity of hydro sets of Egorlikskaya HPP-2 will be 14, 2 MW. Commissioning of the plant is planned on December 2010.
In Cascade of Kubanskih HPP of eight Hydro Power Plants and one Hydroelectric Pumped Storage Power Plant – all derivational type, situated in beds of Bolshoi Stavropolskiy and Nevinomysskiy canals and it is its main part. HPSP, HPP-1, HPP-2, HPP-3 and HPP-4 are situated at Bolshoi Stavropolskiy canal, diversion knot of river is situated near Ust’ – Jeguta city. Summary capacity of cascade of Kubanskih HPP is 462,3 MW, of which 230,13 MW is equipment capacity, delivered by OJSC "Turboatom". In 2005 Cascade of Kubanskih HPP entered into OJSC "RusHydro".
