Machine tool station Waldrich Coburg was bought in 1984, in 1986 – was commissioned. With firm-manufacturer was signed the Contract for its reconstruction, counted on 1, 5 year - all repairing work must be finished by the 15th of December 2011. “This machine tool station is unique and determined for us, it works in three shifts, because the plant has good loading, big stock of orders and this machine tool station helps a lot in implementation of our plans”, - pointed General Director of OJSC "Turboatom" Victor Subbotin.
In a year machine tool station will be stopped and disassembled for knots replacement, electronics, including CPM, manufactured beforehand parts for assembly. Knots the representatives of Waldrich Coburg will take to Germany for reconstruction and during three months its will be back to "Turboatom" for erection. Manufacture is planned not to use machining center about 4 – 4, 5 months.
In the result of updating will be reproduced in corpora published data of machine tool station and its working capacity. Today machine tool station works not in full capacity, what affects on production cycles.
Uniqueness of Waldrich Coburg is that one can work in manual mode and in CPM regime most of the parts, as small as big one: blades, cylinders, basic parts of steam and hydraulic turbines, blades of hydro turbines. The length of manufactured details could reach 17 m, breadth – 5 m. Machine tool station can do any operations, connected with milling, drilling, reboring with providing high accuracy and clearness of manufacturing.
Repair and reconstruction of equipment are implemented according to complex “Program of technical extension of production OJSC "Turboatom" in 2008-2015, accepted by the management of the enterprise. In 2010 on technical extension the plant is planned to direct about 30 Million hryvnas.
