OAO TATNEFT produced 2,122,425 tons of crude oil with the above-the-plan production in the amount of 34,766 tons (101.7%). Production volume for the period of 6 months amounted to 12,815,576 tons of crude oil accounting for 23,011 tons surplus compared to the amount of 2009 (100.2%). Above-the-plan production amounted to 220,335 tons (101.7%).
New Drilling
The penetration during a five months period of 2010 amounted to 326.8 thousand meters (297.5 thousand meters in 2009):
- 272.4 thousand meters were drilled for OAO TATNEFT (264.9 thousand meters in 2009), including 262.5 thousand meters of production drilling and 9.9 thousand meters of exploratory drilling;
- 10.0 thousand meters were drilled for OAO TATNEFT subsidiaries and affiliated companies (18.0 thousand meters in 2009), including 6.5 thousand meters of production drilling and 3.5 thousand meters of exploratory drilling;
- 44.4 thousand meters (14.6 thousand meters in 2009) were penetrated for joint ventures and independent oil companies, including 39.5 thousand meters of production drilling and 4.9 thousand meters of exploratory drilling.
223 wells (178 wells in 2009) were constructed and handed over to customers and out of this amount:
- 159 wells (153 wells in 2009) were delivered to OAO TATNEFT with 156, production wells and three exploratory wells;
- 6 wells (6 wells in 2009) wells were drilled for OAO TATNEFT subsidiaries and affiliated companies with 5 production wells and 1 exploratory well;
- 58 wells (19 wells in 2009) were penetrated for joint ventures and independent oil companies, including 55 production wells and three exploratory wells.
Drilling in the Old Well Stock
Penetration of sidetracking and horizontal wellbores for five months of 2010 amounted to 16.4 thousand meters м (14.2 thousand meters in 2009 )including:
- 11.0 thousand meters penetrated for OAO TATNEFT (8.3 thousand meters in 2009);
- 5.4 thousand meters were drilled for joint ventures and independent oil companies (5.9 thousand meters in 2009).
42 wells were delivered to the customers (42 wells in 2009):
- 29 wells were delivered to OAO TATNEFT (29 wells in 2009);
- 13 wells were delivered to joint ventures and independent oil companies (13 wells in 2009).
In 2010, 40 drilling crews performed drilling of new wells. 8 drilling crews were engaged in sidetrack penetration and drilling horizontal wellbores. Penetration per one drilling crew for 2010 amounted to 8,401 meters, while in 2009 the penetration per crew amounted to 7,064 meters.
12.8 thousand meters were penetrated outside the Republic of Tatarstan. 32.3 thousand meters were penetrated in horizontal wells and multi-branched downhole splitters.
Well Repairs
739 well remedial operations were performed in June 2010 and 4,244 remedial operations were performed during the period of six months, i.e. 375 wells less than in 2009 (4,619 wells during 6 months of 2009).
28 well repair operations were performed in OOO Tatneft-Samara from the beginning of the year, including 14 well remedial operations and 14 workover operations
The workover operations were performed at 1,322 wells during a six months period of 2010 (1,020 wells in 6 months of 2009) with 234 of them performed in June, including: production string sealing in 202 wells; shutting-off individual layers and recompletion in other intervals in 162 wells; transfer of the wells into different categories and wells completion for injection in 84 wells; failure liquidation and cleaning of the electrical cable and bottom hole areas in 167 wells.
431 wells were worked over with application of coil tubing (84 wells in June) including 92 including 78 wells worked over through the annulus.
Formation hydrofracking operations were performed in 126 wells (24 wells in June). The cumulative incremental oil recovery amounted to 3,354 thousand tons.
12 slim holes were drilled and completed for OAO TATNEFT from the beginning of the year. 2 crews perform drilling at present with one of them drilling at NGDU Aznakaevskneft while another one performs drilling operations at NGDU Almetyevneft.
Works on oil recovery enhancement were performed at 1,134 wells (239 wells in June) including chemical treatment methods applied at 649 wells (137 wells in June).
The incremental oil production resulting from application of the enhanced oil recovery methods amounted to 2 million 611 thousand tons with the chemical methods accounting for the production of 1 million 260 thousand tons of oil.
Operations of bottomhole zone acid treatment were performed at 1,384 wells and the production of chemical products amounted to 19 thousand 275 tons of chemicals for the amount of 397 million rubles.
