Balakovo NPP: scheduled maintenance of power unit No. 4 is over

In the course of the repair measures on introduction of 18-month fuel campaign were taken and series of maintenance and equipment modernization works were carried out at the power unit.
All scheduled works have been performed in a quality manner for 55 days.
Heating and start-up of the power unit were carried out without deviations, in compliance with the requirements of the safe operation process regulations.
At present all four power units of Balakovo NPP are operated in the routine mode.
The radiation background in Balakovo and in Balakovo NPP location area complies with the natural background values typical for the European part of the Russian Federation. No deviations from safe operation limits and conditions have been found.
