«Zaporozhtransformator» will manufacture equipment for Winter Olympics-2014

After TPP Adlerskaya (“Gazprom energoholding” Ltd., Sochi region, Russian Federation) commissioning, park of ZTR equipment will provide all Olympic complex infrastructure with heating. TPP Adlerskaya will contribute to energy balance of Sochi and neighboring districts considerably.     
The present Contract is not the first one, within scope of which ZTR delivers equipment for power supply of objects for Olympic Games 2014. From the beginning of preparation to Olympics, JSC “Zaporozhtransformator” has delivered equipment in the region for PP Dagomys, PP Psou, TPP Sochinskaya and a number of other objects.     
Shipment of the first transformer rated for 25 MVA 110 kV for TPP Adlerskaya is scheduled for December, 2010. 5 machines more (three transformers rated for 80 MVA 110 kV and two transformers rated for 16 MVA 20 kV) ZTR will deliver to the Customer in the Ist quarter of the year 2011. Delivery of two transformers rated for 16 MVA 20 kV, one transformer rated for 80 MVA 220 kV and one autotransformer rated for 200 MVA 220 kV will take place in the IInd quarter of the next year.    
Krasnodar Territory traditionally has been and remains energy-deficit region of Russian Federation.  ZTR equipment that will be installed at TPP Adlerskaya, is designed for compensation of power deficient in Krasnodar Territory. In particular – for power-supply of Sochi region, where present power plants cover only about 25% of current capacity.
