Commercial and technical managers of the following power supply companies: power association in Lugansk, Central power company, Poltavaoblenergo, Symyoblenergo and Chernigovoblenergo were the members of seminar.
Significant problems in the transformer inventory conditions of power supply companies where almost half of substation transformers related for voltage 35 -150 kV were the necessity of carrying out such kind of seminar. No doubt that there are no “eternal” transformers and no alternatives to replacee the transformers reached the end of its service life. However, replacement in a short space of time is related to the required investment peak and as a result is not practicable. Therefore, main purpose of modern service system of “aged” inventories is realization of measures of condition restoration and service life prolongation of the equipment worked –out its service life that permits to reduce the required peak of investments, expand it according to time and replace the equipment in its systematic order.
Members of seminar discussed the presented concept of complex servicing, including complete set of all servicing type, increased periods of warranty service newly supplied production, development of the optimal replacement/modernization/repairing based on the modern methods of determination of cost of the transformer service life, creation of “reserve fund” of the most spread type of transformers.
“Age structure” of the transformer inventory and all the related problems, concept of “servicing on conditions” with all the following necessities carrying out of huge scope of works as for complex diagnostics, ZTR experience as for operation of the old transformer wide volume, particularly their restoration and expansion of service life.
In addition to seminar discussions representatives of the companies got acquainted with the production of ZTR, visited Super power transformer plant, Cable plant and Small-sized transformer plant.
