TNK-BP Helps Regions Tackle Fires

TNK-BP has decided to provide financial support to firefighting operations and assistance to those affected in the regions where it operates – Ryazan, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg and Samara.

TNK-BP funds will be used, in particular, to combat fires and restore the Buzulukskiy Bor national park, which is a specially protected natural site with federal status.
TNK-BP’s own firefighting units are currently providing active assistance to units of the Russian Civil Defence Ministry as they tackle fires in the Ryazan, Saratov and Orenburg Regions.
TNK-BP is also making every effort to protect its fuel stations, oil production and refining facilities against fire.
