At Rostov NPP turbine reached estimated capacity 1000 МW

In the end of 2009 at the plant was physical commissioning of unit. During planned reach of capacity unit in discrete steps reached estimated capacity.
Today turbine is in experimental-industrial operation at unit with participation of OJSC “Turboatom” experts impact testing are in progress.
This is 18th commissioned low speed turbine with capacity 1000 МW, manufactured by "Turboatom". Equivalent turbine sets К-1000-60/1500 are running at eight units of three Russian NPP, eight units of two Ukrainian NPP and at two units Kozloduy NPP in Bulgaria.
Last stage of experimental industrial program will be transmission of unit to industrial operation after it will come into commission of functioning NPP of Russian Federation.
General contractor of construction of Rostov NPP - JSC "Nizhegorodskaya ingineeringovaya companiya" (NIFEP). Customer of plant construction – JSC "Concern Rosenergoatom".
In July of current year OJSC "Turboatom" signed a contract for supply of condenser unit No 3 of Rostov NPP Under construction. More over was signed contract for additional supply of equipment, necessary for commissioning of unit No 3 of the same plant. Contract for signing under preparation, in accordance with it OJSC “Turboatom” will implement reconstruction of turbine of unit No 3 Rostov NPP, supplied previously.
Rostov NPP is a branch of JSC “Concern Rosenergoatom”. Construction of Rostov NPP was started in 1977. In 1990 constructionofNPPwasstopped. In 1998 by Order of Legislative Assembly of Rostov Region was decided to start construction works at plant.
