The agreement provides for development of cooperation between the two companies and is aimed at improving the efficiency, reliability and security of the grid infrastructure operated by the companies, as well as the introduction of new technologies.
In accordance with the signed document, Companies plan to organize an information exchange on a wide range of topics. In particular, companies plan to share information and experience on the use of modern technologies for engineering and construction of new energy facilities, introduction of modern equipment, organization and implementation of research and development projects and application of their output into production and operation.
The Agreement also indicates the plans of both Companies to construct a 500 kV transmission line from 500 kV SS Amur to the State Border between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China.
The implementation of the Agreement will be supervised and coordinated by the newly established Joint Project Team.
