The contest was participated by the best warehousemen, crane operators, and slingers of JSC TNK-BP Supply working at OJSC TNK-BP Management Branch “Regionalnyi Tsentr MTO” in the city of Buzuluk, Separate Structural Unit Nizhnevartovsk, Separate Structural Unit Nyagan, Separate Structural Unit Turtas, and Separate Structural Unit Kuibyshev. In his opening speech, Oleg Kochagov, General Director of JSC TNK-BP Supply, said that highest-level professionals take part in the contest: “The people competing here for the title of the best in profession are leaders in their work making the basis of our company. Such contests encourage our employees to development and professional growth.”
The accomplishments of contest participants were assessed by expert commissions using criteria worked out separately for each profession.
Mikhail Baklanov (Separate Structural Unit Nizhnevartovsk, JSC TNK-BP Supply) was named the best crane operator. Sergey Parfenov (OJSC TNK-BP Management Branch “Regionalnyi Tsentr MTO” in the city of Buzuluk) was given the title of the best slinger. The winners in each nominations were given cash bonus certificates, diplomas, badges “Best in Profession in TNK-BP,” and vouchers for the final stage of the Corporate Olympic Games in Sochi.
The most experienced participant of the contest Viktor Kotkov (OJSC TNK-BP Management Branch “Regionalnyi Tsentr MTO” in the city of Buzuluk, work experience of 30 years) and the youngest participant of the contest Yuri Kuznetsov (slinger, Separate Structural Unit Kuibyshev, work experience of 2.5 years) were selected in the nomination “Generation Relay Race.” Slingers Sergey Parfenov and Viktor Kotkov (OJSC TNK-BP Management Branch “Regionalnyi Tsentr MTO” in the city of Buzuluk) came out the winners in the nomination “Best Squad.”
