"Turboatom" adopts new equipment

In August 2010 was bought magnetic machine of metal trepan drilling МАВ 825 made by "Hoffmann" (Germany) for workshop of hydroturbines. Machine changed pneumatic drilling machine IP-1103А, which was designed by experts of "Turboatom" over 30 years ago.
Trepan drilling machine will be used in nooks for drilling and threading in runner body for fixing of bronze bushings and also in lower ring for facing.
Due of technics of trepan drilling, there is no need in pre-works and time for machining reduces on 50-60%. Maximum diameter of drilling МАВ 825 is 100 mm, machine can thread up to М30 without reversible thread-cutting chuck (set includes special adapter). Drilling machine IP-1103А reached just 32 mm and has no possibility for threading.
New metal trepan drilling machine extend hardness of construction, improves quality of threaded opening machining, increase productivity and reduces laboriousness. For example during machining of runner body Shensingo HPP product cycle was reduced on three days. Adoption of МАВ 825 also allows for 100 % mechanize manual labour and improve workflow of machining and assemblage of hydroturbine equipment.
