The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” is purchasing a new tube spiral finning machine

The development of the production capabilities at “Krasny Kotelshchik” (the key production asset of “EMAlliance”) is a part of the general strategy of PJSC “EMAlliance” aimed at the development of the sales market for new high-tech equipment both in the domestic market and abroad. New investment programs of the Russian national power industry and initiation of construction and modernization of the power plants in the CIS countries will significantly lift the demand for advanced HRSGs for high efficiency combined-cycle plants, where used are spiral finned tubes as the most critical technological components.
The new tube spiral finning machine produced by «HAN-SUNG», the price for which is 55,2 million RUR, including purchase, installation and optimization and commissioning, is planned to be put in operation in November 2010.The installation of the machine is planned to be started in the middle of September. It shall be carried out during a month under the supervision of the manufacturer’s specialists. After that, the proper commissioning and putting in operation shall be performed.
It should be noted that in December 2008 “Krasny Kotelshchik” has already put in operation two tube spiral finning machines produced by the above Korean company «HAN-SUNG», which proved to be reliable and effective equipment. The total costs for re-arrangement of the equipment, purchasing, installation and commissioning of that project was 144.7 million RUR.
