In August 872.1 million kWh of electric power was transferred to the energy system, which is 103.21% of the plan. In August the utilization factor of maximum capacity of Novovoronezh NPP was equal to 69.12% (planned UFMC – 67.42%).
For eight months of 2010 Novovoronezh NPP has generated 9,226.2 million kWh of electric power. For the eight-month period of 2010 the energy generation plan, confirmed by Russian FTS has been fulfilled by 100.61%. Since the beginning of the year 8,609.5 million kWh of electric power was transferred to the energy system, which is 101.13% of the plan. For eight months of 2010 the UFMC has comprised 86.27%, while the planned value was equal to 85.73%.
On August 10, 2010 power unit No.4 of Novovoronezh NPP was put out of operation for scheduled preventive maintenance (SPM) and nuclear fuel recharging.
In August, 2010 power units Nos.3 and 5 of Novovoronezh NPP were operated in the standard mode.
No violations of limits and conditions of safe operation of the plant power units were detected in August, 2010.
According to the automated control system, the radiation environment in the area of Novovoronezh NPP location and in a 30 km control area does not differ from the natural environmental background and corresponds to the long-standing natural radiation values typical for this area.
