Flag of TATNEFT at the Peak of Lenin

Employees of NGDU Aznakaevskneft have climbed the Peak of Lenin, which is one of the "seventhousanders", a mountain peak, located on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Since the beginning of the season the team of TATNEFT has become the fourth most massive group, which has risen to the peak.

The program of climbing one of the highest peaks of the Central Asia has been timed to the 60th anniversary of OAO TATNEFT and the 10th anniversary of the Youth Organization of OAO TATNEFT.
The expedition had been preceded by individual and joint special trainings, which had been evaluated by hours of activity. In the autumn of 2009 and in July 2010 the team of TATNEFT made an expedition to the Urals. The tourist festival of TATNEFT held in June this year also proved to be useful for mountain climbers. Routes had been chosen as close to the high altitudes conditions as possible.
The oilmen climbers who had ascended the peak took photographs with flags of the Company, the Youth Organization and NGDU Aznakaevskneft. This is how they celebrated the 60th anniversary of TATNEFT establishment and the 10 anniversary of the Youth Organization establishment.
Climbing the Peak of Lenin is not the first mountain hike of the oilmen. They won the Elbrus mountain top in 2006 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of NGDU Aznakaevskneft establishment.
