INTER RAO UES and FORTUM Signed Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Power Industry

Within a month a dedicated working group will be formed, for continuous studying of the relevant cooperation between the companies, analyzing the best practices related to renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and innovation.
The group will also look into the Russian and international regulations with a view to develop a fair and predictable regulatory framework within Russia-EU energy dialogue. 
INTER RAO UES, JSC is a fast growing transnational energy company with a number of generation and distribution assets in Russia and abroad. The total installed capacity of the electric power stations of INTER RAO UES Group is about 18,000 MW. The company is a major investor and a leading exporter and importer of electric power in Russia, as well as a major generator in Russia.
