Thus, gold medals of Rosenergoatom Concern "For Merits in Improvement of Nuclear Power Plants’ Safety” were awarded to Head of Department of Mobilization Training, Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Emergency Centers, Vladimir Akimov, engineer of the same department Sergey Dukhanin, deputies chief NPP engineer of Vladimir Rozin and Vladimir Fomenko.
Silver medals were awarded to Head of Fire Safety Department Evgeny Lushin, engineer of Mobilization Training Department Sergei Nazarenko, driver Alexander Rogov and loader-rigger Vladimir Romaniuk.
In addition 18 employees of Novovoronezh nuclear power plant were awarded with a Certificate of Merit of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC.
Moreover, seven NVNPP employees were awarded with a Certificate of Merit of the Political Council of Novovoronezh office of the "United Russia" party “For Courage and Bravery Displayed in Management of Fire Emergency Situations." They were deputies chief NPP engineer Vladimir Fomenko and Vladimir Rosin, Department Head Vladimir Akimov, engineers Sergey Dukhanin and Sergey Nazarenko, PPEA foreman Boris Fetisov and fitter of Administrative Economic Department Vladimir Novikov.
The works on extinguishing of forest fires in June and August on the territory of Voronezh region engaged forces and means of Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, territorial subsystems of Russian Unified System for Prevention and Relief of Emergency SituationsofNovovoronezh city, including Novovoronezh NPP - forest fire fighting team, special departmental formation (SDF), structural departments’ personnel - altogether up to 154 people. The personnel of Novovoronezh NPP were involved in the extinguishing of forest fires: in June – for 12 days, in July - for 11 days, and in August – for 5 days. During the fire extinguishing the labor contribution of the plant amounted to 1,009 persons-day.
