At Kanev HPP was commissioned turbines manufactured by OJSC "Turboatom"

After the reconstruction, produced by OJSC “Turboatom”, power hydraulic unit has increased from 19.2 MW to 24 MW, COE is increased by 4%, as well as improved reliability and durability of the turbine.
Updating turbine PL15-GK-600 was to install a new high -performance for Kaplan runner diameter of 6 m with an updated blade system, as well as wicket gate, equipped with blades with an improved profile.
In accordance with the contractual obligations of "Turboatom” undertook the design, manufacture and supply of turbines, as well as services of supervise erection and starting - up and adjustment. The turbine was put into commercial operation, which is signed by the appropriate document.
At Kanev HPP OJSC “Turboatom” reconstructed for 8 turbine units of 22. After updating the entire plant total capacity will reach 576 MW.
