"Turboatom" tested and dispatched the wicket gate for Kiev HPP

In the presence of representatives of the customer were held functional tests, by the results of which was signed take over report that all controlled parameters are up to a quality and accepted by the customer.

At Kiev HPP is implemented updating of horizontal bulb (-type) hydro turbine with installation of new runner and wicket gate.
Specialists of OJSC "Turboatom" made new adjustable-blade runner with diameter 6 m with renewal blade system and equipped the wicket gate with new blades with better form. After reconstruction the capacity of hydro set will increase from 19, 2 MW to 21 MW, COE will increase to 4% and also will increase ecological safety and lifetime of the turbine.
In OJSC “Turboatom” plans is to manufacture equipment for the set No 20.
