"Turboatom" took part in the international exhibition "Power efficiency 2010"

In the exhibition their best scientific, technical and technological developments in manufacturing turbines showed OJSC “Turboatom”. The enterprise presented the project to supply turbines for the Dniester PSP, a model steam turbine K-325, TO-220, mini and micro hydropower plants, the blades of steam turbines for thermal and nuclear power plants.
The General Director of OJSC “Turboatom" Victor Subbotin introduced plant, its achievements in the nuclear, thermal and hydroelectric power and manufacturing capabilities of the enterprise in domestic and global turbine construction. He also participated in the summit, made a report “OJSC “Turboatom” and energy - strategy of development.”  In his speech, Victor Subbotin, drew attention to the latest engineering developments in the field of nuclear turbines, "For new nuclear power units NPP “Turboatom”  today offers a modern low-speed turbines with a capacity of 1200 MW turns 1500 rpm (for reactor VVER). This project can be implemented on block № 4 Rostov NPP under construction and the Nizhny Novgorod NPP in Russia, blocks № 3, 4 Khmelnitsky NPP and the first Nuclear Power Plants in Kazakhstan and Belarus. “He also noted that “Turboatom” is actively working to modernize Thermal Power Plants in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan to increase its capacity and efficiency, increase reliability and service life of TPP for 20-25 years. Considerable achievements the plant has reached and in hydro turbine construction. According to him, a significant event in the energetic of Ukraine in 2009 became the commissioning of the first hydraulic unit of Europe's largest Dniester HPSPP - with reversible turbines, which is designed and manufactured “Turboatom”. The enterprise is actively working on the manufacturing of equipment for the modernization of HPP Dnieper cascade, is involved in an extensive program to supply turbines for a cascade of Kuban HPP Kama HPP, Novosibirsk HPP in Russia, to supply equipment for the Mexican, Chinese and other Hydro Power Plants. “Turboatom” has huge potential and is continuing to increase production capacity. The plant is ready to develop cooperation with Ukrainian and foreign companies,” said Victor Subbotin in conclusion.
