The document was signed by the Chairman of the local Government of Dagestan Magomed Abdulayev and the Chairman of JSC FGC UES Management Board Oleg Budargin.
The Agreement aims at cooperation of the parties for developing the Unified national electric grid and enhancing the efficient operation of the UNEG in Dagestan region of Russia.
In accordance with the Agreement within construction and renovation of electric grid facilities JSC FGC UES will commission 250 MVA of transformer capacity and construct 280 km of power transmission lines on the territory of Dagestan by 2014. In 2010-2014 the Federal Grid Company will invest about RUR 8.5 bln. in development of electric grid complex of Dagestan.
In 2013 JSC FGC UES will start construction of two power transmission lines 330 kV in the region: Irganayskaya HPP – Chiryurt and Artyem – Derbent with the length of 73.8 km and 175 km, respectively. In 2012 the construction of substation 330 kV Kizlyar will be commenced. By 2014 it is planned to complete construction of power transmission line 330 kV Mozdok - Artyem, substation 330 kV Artyem and overhangs of power transmission lines 330 kV Chiryurt – Makhachkala. By the end of this year the reconstruction of substation 330 kV Chiryurt located in Kizilyurt district of Dagestan will be completed.
