Petrobras rolls out interactive technology project

Computer graphics, interactive video, and motion sensors are used to show how technology has led the company to great achievements, such as the Pre-Salt and innovations in biofuels.
The site, available in English and Portuguese, has video interactions based on a series of three Rube Goldberg machines, or "incredible machines," domino effect mechanisms built with actual features in a studio in São Paulo.
The machine videos lead to a series of infographics that showcase the past, present, and future of the technological challenges faced by Petrobras. In the section on the future, an application equipped with a motion sensor from a webcam allows users to get to know the company's innovation axes, such as technologies used for sustainability, new products, and the energy production frontiers.
