JSC FGC UES and Russian Academy of Sciences will develop cooperation in designing power system with intelligent grid

The Agreement is aimed at developing cooperation to organize researches and development to form and realize scientific and technical and innovation policy, develop innovative infrastructure and scientific-technical cooperation in electric power industry.
In accordance with the Agreement the Parties will cooperate in engineering and normative-technical support for projects, personnel training and retraining programs, organizing necessary practice, seminars and training sessions. Also JSC FGC UES and Russian Academy of Sciences intend to hold joint activities to prepare for participation in meetings held by research councils on the issues of development application upon implementing innovative technologies.
In the area of developing power system with active-adaptive (intelligent) grid the Parties agreed to define and realize scientific-technical and innovation policy, improve normative legal base on development and implementation of innovative solutions in electric power industry.
Within the cooperation framework JSC FGC UES with scientific and technical support of the Russian Academy of Sciences will implement technologies and R&D outcomes required to establish power system with intelligent grid which currently are actively developed by the Federal Grid Company.
The Agreement also stipulates for continuous communication between the Parties with regard to the issues of electric grid complex development, development and implementation of innovative technologies including in the area of establishing intelligent electric grids as well as conducting joint educational activities in order to train dedicated personnel.
