At present, these products are released for shipment to the customer.
The total weight of the manufactured equipment exceeds 600 tons, and the total weight of module 7 is 109 tons, and that of module 6 amounts to 140 tons, accordingly. In order to ship the said heavy modules, by “Krasny Kotelshchik” used will be special truck furnished for heavy equipment transportation.
In this connection, it should be noted that the HRSG fabricated for the above Project Nyagan TPS is a tailor-made boiler designed with application of all the most advanced design concepts, which make it possible both to considerably reduce the total metal consumption required for the HRSG fabrication and increase the operating reliability of the HRSG equipment.
“Krasny Kotelshchik” pioneers in fabrication of the HRSG of this design. Therefore, its fabrication involves application of newly developed welding and other manufacturing procedures, additional training of the GMAW welding personnel (who is used in fin-tubes-to-header welding). During the fabrication of this HRSG, it was required to improve the existing hydrostatic test facilities by furnishing an additional area scheduled for conducting hydrostatic testing of HRSG modules.
Now further works undertaken by “Krasny Kotelshchik” within the framework of its order for Project Nyagan TPS are in progress. It is scheduled to complete last modules of this HRSG by January 2011. It should be noted that another two similar HRSG for the same Nyagan TPS are in sight of “Krasny Kotelshchik”.
