Results of the meetings of the Management Committees for blocks 112 and 129-132 of the continental shelf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

The seventh meeting of the Management Committee for the oil-and-gas contract for block 112 of the continental shelf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the second meeting of the Management Committee for the oil-and-gas contract for blocks 129-132 of the continental shelf took place on 20 October at the Joint Operating Company Vietgazprom.

Vsevolod Cherepanov (a member of Gazprom's Board and head of the Department of Gas, Gas Condensate and Oil Production), Vladimir Vovk (head of Gazprom's Offshore Deposit Development Engineering and Technology Department), Valeri Gulyev (General Manager of Gazprom zarubezhneftegaz), and representatives from Gazprom, Gazprom zarubezhneftegaz and the Joint Operating Company Vietgazprom all took part in the meeting from the Russian side. The Vietnamese side was represented by Hoang Ngoc Dang (deputy head of VNNG PetroVietnam's Exploration Department), Dona Duy Tham (deputy head of VNNG PetroVietnam's Oil-and-Gas Project Management Department), Truong Hong Son (deputy General Manager of PVEP) and other specialists from PetroVietnam and PVEP.
The participants in the meeting heard presentations concerning the implementation of Vietgazprom's Programme of Work in 2010 and 2011.
It was noted that next year, Vietgazprom will be preparing reports regarding the results of the work on the second and third phases of the oil-and-gas contract for block 112, and further work on the Bao Vang and Bao Den deposits as well as on blocks 129-132.
