COTES-Sibir Will Provide the Reftinskaya GRES With State-Of-The-Art Igniters

The scope of delivery includes 24 sets of high-energy spark igniters (HESI) manufactured by FORNEY corporation (US), as well as intellectual InSight scanners of FIREYE company.
The high-energy spark igniter is a unique device used for direct ignition at oil, gas or pulverized coal-fired stations with direct ignition of fuel oil. Similar systems of automatic ignition are successfully used at power stations of the West and East Europe for many years. At present such systems are becoming widely spread at pulverized-coal fired stations in Russia because the use of HESI igniters sufficiently increases reliability and safety of boiler operation, and also makes it possible to get rid of intermediate gas facilities.
The supply of the igniting and safety equipment to the Reftinskaya GRES will be provided by COTES-Sibir together with the main supplier of the boiler equipment for the station - the Machine Building Factory of Podolsk, OJSC.
