Different voltage class power lines have been erected for 40 kilometers and substructures are ready for more than 50 kilometers of lines due to the well-coordinated work.
Now works to erect power delivery objects are being conducted at 750kV Gribovo, 500kV Dorohovo 750kV Belozerskaya substations sites at a time. Works for right-of-way preparation are conducted at most sites within 750 kV Kalininskaya NPP—Gribovo power line. Erection works are in progress at Belozerskaya substation. Initial construction works at 750kV Gribovo substation and 500kV Dorohovo substation will be completed before winter.
Moreover, Stroytransgaz concluded contracts for delivery of power equipment with major Russian suppliers and interacted cooperation with field-specific operational organizations and state municipal authorities.
The company follows the principles of environmental protection. To decrease negative effect of construction on forest resources and agricultural lands of Tver and Moscow region the previously adopted right-of-ways for power lines are being reviewed. Work is arranged in such way, that the changes made will have no influence on the construction rate and dates of objects’ commissioning.
Stroytransgaz is actively involved in the energy construction market since 2006 due to its diversification program. The company participates in construction of nine thermal and nuclear generation projects at present. Stroytransgaz implements a number of projects for construction of the Unified National (all-Russia) Power Grid objects as well.
The customer of the Power Distribution Facilities Construction for Energy Block No. 4 of the Kalinin NPP Project is Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System. Stroytransgaz fulfills construction obligations on general contract terms. More than 660 km of power lines of 220-750 kV will be constructed and more than 6758 МVА of transformer power will be put into operation for power distribution of the new block of Kalinin NPP totally.
