COTES will develop power supply system for LUKOIL gas-processing facilities

At present, project documentation needs to be elaborated. It includes engineering solutions for the power supply system of the following facilities: ethylene and its derivatives production complex (Petrochemical Complex), Gas-Processing Plant, Stavrolen, and Research & Development Centre. The power supply system of the existing facilities shall be changed due to the construction of a new Gas-Processing Plant and Research & Development Centre. In order to increase the existing capacity, a 135-145 MW CCGT unit will be built and connected to the new system.
COTES joined the project during the initial phase of the project to analyze the current situation with power supply of the existing facilities and to elaborate the main engineering solutions for the new external power supply system with due account for the proposed construction. COTES specialists shall suggest layout solutions for the upgraded power supply system, define which of the existing facilities can be included in the new system or need renovation, which substations and high-voltage lines need extension. Plot plant showing the arrangement of all the facilities will also be prepared. In addition, the work includes the development of a time schedule for all design, construction and installation works.
