Victor Zubkov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation was the leader of the Russian delegation and Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan headed the Turkmenian one.
The issues of trade and economic cooperation in the field of fuel and energy, heavy mechanical engineering, telecommunications and transport were discussed during the Commission session.
At the plenary meeting of the Commission Konstantin Grigoriev stressed STG’s striving for the long-term cooperation and strengthening of partnership with the Turkmenian business, aimed at further efficient realization of infrastructure projects in the territory of Turkmenistan.
Stroytransgaz has been carrying out its production activities in Turkmenistan since 2004. STG Branch in Ashkhabad and several STG construction offices are functioning in Turkmenistan regions at present.
Since 2004 Stroytransgaz has executed several contracts for delivery of oil-gas-field and drilling equipment for the Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery Complex, and realized Malai-Bagtyyarlyk Gas Pipeline Project. A part of Central Asia–China Project, pre-commissioning activities of Gas Dehydration Plant and Self-Supporting Gas Metering Station are being finished at present.
Stroytransgaz takes part in the international project for the training of the Turkmenian citizens in the higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation as well.
