COTES will design bag filter installation under Alstom order

At present, under the contract with Alstom, COTES’ specialists start developing basic design and working documentation for the replacement of the existing electrostatic precipitator with a bag filter. The installation of a brand-new gas-cleaning plant is caused by the decision of Enel (Italy) – the Owner of OGK-5, to install a bag filter on the retrofitted unit of the Reftinskaya GRES like in the majority of its European facilities.
This work for the Reftinskaya Power Plant is not the first cooperation between COTES and Alstom as a manufacturer and supplier of gas-cleaning plants. Earlier, Alstom NID-technology was one of the alternative desulphurization options for the construction project of power unit No.3 at the Ekibastuzskaya GRES-2 Power Plant.
