“Turboatom" was visited by the delegation of representatives of business circles of Iran

The guests visited steam turbine workshop (No 53) and hydro turbine workshop (No 83), museum of history of the plant and learned about the main activities of the enterprise.
During the visit the sides held negotiations and discussed the prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation. The Iranian side has proposed “Turboatom” participate in the construction of NPP with capacity of 380-400 MW. The tender is expected in 5-6 months. OJSC “Turboatom" expressed its readiness to consider the proposals and technical designs, submitted by the General Contractor for construction of the plant by “Surena G.C. Company".
Also were discussed possible deliveries of equipment for thermal power plants of Iran.
According to a spokesman at the Iranian Embassy, according to the state program for power development in the next ten years in Iran planned commissioning of 5 thousand MW of additional capacities.
