"Turboatom" has completed production of the last runner of hydro turbines HPP Shensigou

OJSC "Turboatom" (Ukraine) has completed production of the last fourth of the runner for turbines HPP Shensigou (China), currently under construction in the county Hanyuan of Chinese province of Sichuan on the river Daduhe.

In the presence of the customer's specialists of "Turboatom" successfully completed functional oil testing of the runner as was signed by the appropriate protocol. The equipment handed over by shipping.
Under the contract, signed in 2008 OJSC "Turboatom" provides manufacturing and supply of four rotary-vane runners with diameter of 8.3 m for vertical hydro turbines of "Kaplan" type with unit capacity of 165 MW.
Currently, on-site construction of power plants of the first runner put into operation, the second - was installed and waiting commissioning of the set, the third is in the installation.
Enter HPP Shensigou into operation in 2011. Within two years, will last the warranty period, after which the plant comes into operation HPP in China. The total nominal capacity of HPP Shensigou will be 650 MW.
