Securities were distributed among wide range of investors which included about 40 Russian and foreign banks, and also international financial institutions.
Bonds of series 07 for the amount of RUR 5 bln. are placed with 5-year offer at coupon rate 7.5% per annum. Bonds of series 09 for the amount of RUR 5 bln. and bonds of series 11 for the amount of RUR 10 bln. were placed with 7-year offer at coupon rate 7.99% per annum representing the largest placement of 7-year bonds in the Russian market history.
Gazprombank, VTB Capital and Sberbank of Russia stood sponsors of the securities placement.

For the first time during its activity in Russia the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) - is one of the largest international financial institutions which activity is aimed at supporting large infrastructure projects – acquired seven-year bonds. The bank attention to the Federal Grid Company was determined by the fact that funds received from bonds placement shall be used for backbone grid complex modernization enabling enhancement of the company energy efficiency, improvement of power supply reliability and also elimination of infrastructure constraints in industry development in certain Russian regions.
On September 28, 2010 JSC FGC UES placed corporate bonds of series 0, 08 and 10 for the amount of RUR 30 bln. The placement became the largest public transaction in the history of RUR-denominated corporate bonds.
Considering the current placement as of today there are JSC FGC UES bond issues in circulation for the total amount of RUR 56 bln.
