The Joint Operating Company Vietgazprom has learnt about a data interpretation software package

With considerable experience in conducting geological exploration on the Vietnamese shelf, the Joint Operating Company Vietgazprom is nonetheless faced with resolving complex problems connected with the exploration and prospecting of hydrocarbon deposits.

The company therefore strives to research and use the latest technology in its field.
Within the context of researching these technologies, specialists from the Exploration Directorate of the Joint Operating Company Vietgazprom took part in the DecisionSpace - Desktop Software presentation in Hanoi on Tuesday 16 November. The purpose of this software is to interpret geological and geophysical materials. This interpretation product is used by geologists and geophysicists employed in the oil-and-gas industry in order to explore large areas and data levels as fast and accurately as possible.
The aforementioned product was produced by the Halliburton Landmark Software & Service company.
Representatives from VNNG PetroVietnam, the Corporation for Hydrocarbon Prospecting and Production PVEP and VPI also took part in the presentation.
