“Green Technologies” for Russian Power Engineering

In accordance with this agreement, JSC “EMAlliance” is first planning to undertake marketing for the existing HAMON engineering concepts concerning the flue gas cleaning systems on the Russian and CIS markets. Thereafter, the parties to the agreement are intended to consider their possibilities to establish a joint venture in Russia as well as further capabilities of production of modern ecological equipment for power engineering as a part of a license agreement.
Currently, the experts evaluate the potential volume of the Russian and CIS markets for the above products to be USD 1,5 milliard within the period of time till 2020.
During the negotiations, both parties appreciated the existing competencies of JSC “EMAlliance” in designing of the most advanced power engineering equipment and HAMON’s experience in designing and production of high-technology gas-cleaning equipment. The Companies’ representatives are of the opinion that current programs of modernization of the Russian power engineering and programs of state support of green technologies development will allow the parties to pretend to a considerable share with respect to innovative technologies on the domestic market.
Commenting the conclusion of the said agreement, President of JSC “EMAlliance” Timur Avdeenko noted that this document is one more significant step in implementation of the Company policy aimed at increasing proposals for volume of equipment supplies for a modern boiler island and introduction of up-to-date production processes at the production site of JSC “EMAlliance”. “Innovative and environmentally friendly engineering concepts are the future of the domestic power engineering and give absolutely competitive advantages for those companies that are capable of offering these concepts for the modern market”, he mentioned.
