"Turboatom" will manufacture equipment for Zaramagskaya GES-1

In accordance with the contract “Turboatom” will manufacture and supply two spherical inlet valves with 2 m diameter with a dynamic pressure of 760 m and the static pressure of 635 m for the bucket turbines.
The scope of the obligations of the enterprise includes the design, manufacture, supply, installation supervision and commissioning.
Terms of delivery of the first valve - February 2012, the second - April 2012 the Contract is already running in production.

Zaramagskiye HPP-1 is a cascade of hydroelectric Zaramag. In the cascade also includes a head hydropower plants. Construction of stage one of the major left-bank tributaries of the Terek River Ardon the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania conducts OJSC “RusHydro”. The planned total capacity of the two plants will be 352 MW, the annual electricity production - 812 million kWh.
