Mr. G. Bassil announced to Mr. S. Makarov that Stroytransgaz had passed gas pipeline construction prequalification to get an opportunity to work on Lebanese territory. During the meeting, they also discussed cooperation prospects in construction of oil and gas infrastructure, heating stations and other fuel and energy facilities of the country. They agreed to develop closer cooperation and involve the Russian company into implementation of projects for Lebanese oil and gas and electric power industry.
Stroytransgaz actively operates on the Middle East market and provides construction of fuel and energy complex facilities in Syria, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The company has taken part in oil and gas projects of Iraq and Iran. In order to provide development of oversees activity of the company Lebanese branch of Stroytransgaz has been operating in this country since 2001.
