Federal tariff service approved the implementation of RAB-regulation in “Kalmenergo”, branch of “IDGC of the South”, JSC

The new system of tariff regulation will provide “Kalmenergo” with possibility to attract loan assets for implementation of regional investment programmes. “Kalmenergo”, ranch of “IDGC of the South”, JSC has already set the long-term investment programme and it was approved by Government of Kalmykia Republic, it presupposes receiving of 470 million rubles and is to be implemented in 2011-15.
RAB-regulation (Regulatory Asset Base) – is a system of tariff formation based on long-term regulation of tariffs, aimed at attracting of investments for development and modernization of grid infrastructure and increasing work efficiency of grid companies.
RAB-regulation will not only provide “Kalmenergo” with possibility of modernization of Kalmykia grid complex but also will advance the economical development of the region.
